Sundae Guk was authentic and super tasty! The broth was clear and had a great portion of meat. I went at an off time and there were still customers, mainly locals of centreville. I will definitely try their soy sauce marinated crab and chicken feet next time!

Food was amazing. Very very close to Korean food you can eat in korea. Their soondae is now my favorite. I never liked it here in the states anywhere besides in Korea but this place was very yummy. Soon dae 5/5 GamJaTang 5/5 Chicken feet 4.5/5 (more on the spicy side) but my top two places I'll go to for chicken feet in this area. Cville. Service was wonderful. Ambiance typical clean Korean restaurant. Family ran. I'll most definitely will be returning here. Excuse my lazy photos... but the taste is great. I hope it doesn't change.

What a fantastic experience! The restaurant is small with an inviting atmosphere and the staff was super friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in. The menu is extensive with many pictures to help with their great selection of traditional Korean dishes. We tried a variety of things, and the highlights for me were the seafood pancake and gamjatang! The prices are also quite reasonable for the portion sizes. Parking is plentiful as it is in a shared lot with other businesses. A great spot for anyone craving authentic Korean food and a new add to our favorites list! We are definitely coming back. Enjoy!

Parking: the restaurant is located in a strip mall, so there is free public parking. However, it can get very busy because of the other restaurants, so you may have to park a little farther away. Seating: there's a little more than 10 tables inside. The largest table seats 6 people. It's a small-medium restaurant. It was clean inside. Food: it was pretty good! I really liked the yukgaejang. I would order it again! My husband thought the gamjatang was a little too sweet for his taste. The portions were also a good size. Bathroom: the bathroom is located at the back of the restaurant. Price: some of the food prices may be a little expensive, but the portions seemed pretty good. Service: our server lady was very nice & friendly. She also was good at refilling our kimchi side dish when it was running low.

Korean food is everywhere in NOVA... but it's hard to find a place that serves quality food late night when you just have a craving for deep rich hot soups and a variety of food for everyone's personal cravings... This place has it all! But by far... the best thing that they have is the pork kimchi jjigae... the flavor that is only possible to achieve from a well fermented kimchi rings true here... large chunks of pork is surrounded by rice cakes, tofu and green scallions! They give you so much meat! The seafood scallion pancake (해물파전) is amazing as an appetizer for your party. If you are on a kick for great soul reaching kimchi jjigae... this is the place... and the other things are pretty good :)

To those tho love tosokchon in Annandale, I swear this place is a Tosokchon dupe. We ordered the Dwaeji Gukbab and soondae guk. The soondae in the soondae guk was the exact same as tosokchons. Broth was tasty for both soups with a good amount of meat. The kimchi jeon was thin and very crispy.

5 stars: would come back TL;DR: Extensive menu of a variety of Korean food - something for everyone's preference This space has lots of seating, and service is friendly and attentive. FOOD: We have tried several different dishes, some hits and some that were just okay, but nothing has ever been BAD. Our faves: ~Kimchi Jeon (4.25/5): the crispier type, but good flavor ~Gamjatang (4.5/5): great flavor and lots of pork ~Bossam (5/5): Very soft, flavorful, and huge portions ~Dwaeji deungalbi kimchi jjigae (4.5/5): great kimchi flavor and soft rib meat ~Myeongdong Kalguksu (5/5): broth was so flavorful. Dumplings and noodles were cooked perfectly. ~Bul Jokbal (4/5): Huge portions again and very tasty Others: ~Soondae (3/5): kind of bland. Better options elsewhere ~Jokbal (3.8/5): good flavor but a little chewier than I'd prefer ~Dwaegi galbijjim (3.9/5): more brothy/soup-like. Tasted very similar to Dwaeji Deung galbi kimchi jjigae Great spot for some Korean food. One of our go-to spots to scratch that itch.

Really great place for some korean soups! I have been here twice so far and it doesn't disappoint. I got the seafood soondubu and the soondaeguk, which were both delicious and flavorful. I really enjoyed the soondoeguk cause it has different kinds of meats in it and were all tender. My friends and I also shared the kimchi pancake which was also yummy. My friends also enjoyed their meals. I would probably reorder the dishes again or try something new!!!
